At XLAB we use experimental methods to study economic, social, and political issues.

To assure that, we need your volunteer participation. Anyone can participate.

During an experiment participants are asked to make some decisions and participants' effort and time is always rewarded. In some experiments, the amount of the reward is variable and depends upon the individual's and other participants' performance and on the duration of the session (from half an hour to two hours). In other experiments, the amount of the reward is fixed, determined beforehand, and corresponds to a monetary value, but materialised in gift cards that can be used in different chains of stores (usually Dá cards).

If you register, every time an experiment is scheduled, you may be invited. In case you are invited, you can accept or decline the invitation. By registering, you are not obliged to accept and you may withdraw yourself from our system whenever you want.
